Randy 'FoxMan' Langer and his father Bob Langer with Max Bob's registered Walker coyote hound and two coyotes harvested New Years day 1999 MAX'S PEDIGREEThese were coyotes that my dad and I both got on 1/1/99. The one I got was a big old male and weighed in at about 38 lbs... (thus the two hands holding it up). Randy Langer. Bob and the club members do most of their coyote hunting on snow during WI winters.Bob Langer gave me a copy of Max's 5 generation pedigree -- he has some of the best liquor breeding in his Walker bloodlines. His paternal grandsire (P/GS) is Blackhawk Osage Reb; (Maternal/GS) -- his mother is by Strahan Chief Charger they both go back to to Taylor's Osage Double Liquor V.; other great stud hounds are: Wild Goose Diamond; Straight Bourbon twice, Liquor De Luxe, and more. These hounds were bred to run up close on the coyote's body scent and drive their game with few losses.
Max evidently does the job of jumping and driving his game as they bag a lot of red foxes and coyotes each season. Max is also the best handling hound you could ask for, Max could be a worthy hound to breed to for the handling and running qualities we need in our coyote hounds for these tough winter running conditions in Wisconsin.
