Thou shall do no murder is the sixth Commandment of the 10 Commandments

Thou shall not bear false witness is the ninth commandment of the 10 Commandments

“Thou shall do no murder”

Dr. James Kennedy, when delivering a sermon on "The Coral Ridge Hour" this morning Sunday, January 28, 2007, “said in somewhat essence,” the following as to what constitutes biblical murder in respect to killing, (somewhat applies to permanently maiming - during attempted murder), of human beings during a war.

The sixth commandment - Exodus 20:13: "You shall not murder." Intentionally taking someone's life is murder. In Matthew 5:21-22, Jesus tells us that anger and hurtful words are like murder.

Defending yourself against an intruder who is threatening your life has always been a murder defense in a matter of law.

The matter of a just war is when your own country is being attacked ordered by the leadership of another country; however, all offensive war is condemned by the sixth Commandment.

Therefore, a Christian or a Jew must give careful consideration as to what he is doing. Are we fighting to defend our country against another nation's direct attack, or are we defending against a separate regime of terrorist criminals; or are we fighting to aggrandize ourselves against another nation for imperial or other purposes.

“Thou shall not bear false witness”

The ninth commandment - Exodus 20:16: "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor." In court, false testimony is called perjury and is punishable by law. Our testimony, whether before a judge or in the courtroom of life, should be true and accurate -- free of false information.

If you bear false witness against your neighboring country in order to justify attacking and mass murdering men, women and children. It would appear you may have violated both the sixth and the ninth Commandments of Holy Scripture.

Do you believe the invasion of Iraq was a violation of International Law & those Biblical Commandments?

==========================================

The most important need and necessity in our world today is Spiritual based Righteous communications. Spiritual based Righteous communications’ in Mass media journalism has trillions of dollars value to our lives and to our world that are beyond human comprehension. The lives that it has the ability to save, is beyond human comprehension. The invasion of Iraq alone is estimated to eventually cost between one and $2 trillion and consider all the lives that have been lost and destroyed, along with destroying the country and the genetics of the population due to depleted uranium used in our military's ordinance.

I never hear the satellite and cable of television Christian ministries refer to Christ’s Sermon on the Mount or the Beatitudes’ in respect to dealing with evil or an enemy. It is my opinion, that when we do not quote Jesus Christ's Words and Commandments concerning how to deal with evil and enemies we are committing the cardinal sin of omission. These cardinal sins of omission are causing incomprehensible loss of life, property and tax dollars to the American people and to the world.

I recently saw these figures on Free Speech TV, “Democracy Now,” I believe the source was journalist Robert Fisk that illustrated the percentage of civilians that were killed during these various wars. (Documented - VCR Recorded.) During World War I, 10% of the casualties were civilians; during World War II 50%, during the Vietnam War 70%, so far in Iraq 90% of the casualties have been defenseless, innocent civilians. “Shock and awe,” was shockingly awful.

We have been conditioned to watch a massacre and never realize the horrific sin that we have committed. Vision and forethought, along with consulting with the Holy Words of Wisdom in Holy Scripture by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, would have saved the lives of over 600 million innocent Iraqis and over 3000 American troops along with Trillions of dollars of self defeating resource expenditures.

Jesus Christ has NOT failed US; organized religion and all of us so-called Christians have failed Christ by Not obeying His Holy Word in respect to dealing with evil and enemies. Matthew 6:33; “But Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
