In business, in life, and in all political decision making including voting, if you make your decisions based on one policy making factor or issue you will probably live to regret it. The reality will nearly always be that the combination of the other policy factors ended up being many times more important and of more value to your Quality of Life and Living!

First, all public and private policy making incorporates varying degrees of moral character. In practice the character of some policies is immoral or has immoral consequences.

Additionally, recall that we will be judged by our sins of omission, that is to say that our elected representatives must make moral policies when those policies are needed or huge consequences will result! Yes, policy making reflects the moral character of those who are making or neglect to make morally based righteous and just policy.

Now, let us look at the character of some of these policies and the consequences that will inevitably result if these policies are not adopted. The three I will list are of uppermost importance and all must be enacted into policy or law.

1. Our national security and that of most other countries is dependent on oil that is controlled by the OPEC Oil Cartel that can cut off crude oil supplies at any time. From the standpoint of National Security and from the fact that renewable energy sources are nonpolluting—all the countries that are non-OPEC should be mobilizing as we did in World War II, and we should all develop and implement renewable energy as our main source of power. This should be done ASAP in both the Developed and in the Developing countries for too many Quality of Life and Living reasons to list here! Let this one not be our fatal policy sins of omission! The consequences of omission on this policy could result in a total worldwide disaster.

2. Campaign Finance Reform—let this not be a policy omission sin that allows everything that we fought and lost our lives for throughout history to be lost—our governing sovereignty.

3. "Moral fair-trade," rather than immoral wide open and holly exploitive free trade. This is another "moral issue of righteousness and justice" that must be dealt with through effective policy making. Not to do so will result in a gigantic "sin of policy omission" by which we will be judged!

We need and must have all three policies passed into law. Which candidates for office understand these three policy issues and which candidates will act to correct these sins of policy omissions? Failure to act in effective policy making will leave the public open to disastrous consequences. It is extremely immoral to fail to act when it is clearly the righteous and just thing to do.

Public policy immorality is a million times more damaging to the public than personal immorality. I some of the most moral policy makers may have been the most immoral in their personal lives. I would prefer they are moral in both categories but I will always vote for the one that is for the moral policies and the fights to enact them!
