This is for
fun and to improve our shooting skills, --too many are
taking it too serious and therefore won't attend or shoot.
Perhaps there is a need to organize 6 shooter groups that would shoot
from 75-yds. If enough in the new class can't be found, they could hold
a 3 shooter group with two dollars to the winner. It is no disgrace to
miss the target.
This needs always to be a friendly sociable event with zero emphasis
only
winning.
Perhaps the shoot needs more flexibility to bring in more new running
deer target shooters.
The
experienced expert shooters would shoot against each other.
The next meeting to plan the 2004 event should have a thorough
discussion of shooting
options to reduce the reluctance of many to come and shoot! Everyone
needs
the experience, practice, and the information on leading moving
targets.
