Name one right that is more important than a fair and just right to earn a decent living. Corporate global economic policy making is destroying this right.
Remember these definitions of Right: in accordance with justice, [just] law, morality, and so forth; upright; virtuous or (right conduct). Righteousness: acting in a just and upright manner; doing what is right; being virtuous; morally right; fair and just [a righteous act, action or conduct]; see wise. Yes, it is a truism—there can be no genuine production of mutual wealth without righteousness, justice, and equity of economic opportunity in the all human relationship equations.
Please understand that the character of laws and constitutions—as well as all policies and practices—reflect the character of those who write them and those who pass them. Everything that springs from human kind reflects the character of the human source that brought it into being.
Therefore, we will get righteous policies and practices only when, and if we have people of righteous character in the offices of power. The controlling powers that dictate the destiny of humanity now lay in the hands of the giant public corporation CEO's. Therefore, I speak directly to you—yes, you corporate executives! For you have the power and ability to communicate to the world the principled ideas and policies that will restore equity of economic, political, mass communications opportunities to, and for, the common citizenry.
Those of you who understand the significance and weight of this message will step forward and act in accordance with the principles incorporated within it. You will either accept the truth incorporated in these spiritual principles or you will believe that undisciplined free market capitalism is a righteous idol that must be worshipped, above all else.
Will the character of unbridled free market, winner take all, capitalism be accepted or rejected in the court of world opinion. What are the far reaching consequences of the present character of capitalism? Imbalance systems are always unstable and eventually crash down on top of those who espoused such ideas as the only way. God did not formulate or draw up the idea of capitalism; further, if it violates His principles, [it is my view] He will condemn it! Righteous policies; laws; and constitutions, bring glorious, mutually beneficial results.
Whether you like it or not, the results and consequences of capitalism will be judged and, it appears it will be found wanting. Propaganda is beginning to lose its impact; the impact of reality is overwhelming the false claims. It is up to you to change it before it is too late to avoid a total melt down! Billions of human lives hinge on the your ability to select the right policy path to follow. Constitutional Republics with democratic processes or violent revolution, hinge on your ability to select the right principled policy path.
As Brazil goes so goes South America. American corporations have large investments in Brazil and the rest of South America. Around a fifth of our exports go to South America, if they go down we will be in real trouble.I have been saying for decades that each country should follow policies that optimize their economic self sufficiency. The corporate global policy makers have been developing policies that do just the opposite.
Additionally, corporate policy has been to exploit every faucet of of cost differentials and all other advantages with the profits going to the very top economic tiers. This process destroys the breadth and depth of the demand-side economic units of the global economy. The combination of computerized robotic technologies and the extreme widespread shift of investment money to the lowest wage production cost countries has dramatically increased supplies without increasing demand-side earnings. Thus the horendous economic imbalances.
