Creating "High Utility Value" People Empowerment "Broadcasting Content"

Because of all the new digital channel frequencies there is a broad spectrum of program opportunities for broadcasters, sponsors and the listening and viewing audience. These new technologies open up a broad spectrum of new venues allowing the radio-talk call-in programs to merge with television channels and with the Internet in both video and audio formats. This results-in by far the best audience reach compared to the use of one type of broadcast frequency format.

The quality of our mass communications is a high-level determinant of the quality of our lives and our eventual destinies. Nearly everything we know, do and achieve is communicated through our eyes, our ears and other sensory organs. This is why all forms of radio and television broadcasts represent our most important resource toward beneficial change for all of humanity.

A large percentage of America's problems have been due to the lack of transparency in government and corporate affairs, resulting in needless wars and economic inequities.

 Our government gave the big finance companies $750 billion without stipulations as to how it was to be used, now they have given broadcasters are public owned digital frequencies without stipulations or guidance in the way that they are to be used for the public interest, need and necessity
.

Over the air television broadcasting is a virtual wasteland. There is little or no utility value people empowerment content in broadcasting programs. The hierarchical intelligentsia's voice in broadcasting has failed, We The People, the owners of the broadcast frequencies have also failed our global citizenry.

This failure has cost our global community trillions of dollars of loss & untold suffering, it is time for the owners of the broadcast frequency resources to have unbridled ability to broadcast over the new digital channels, toward broadcasting in the public's Utility Value interests' & needs'.

We are in dire need of Television telephone talk with a panel of one to three experts to teach, instruct & coach the community caller listeners & viewers on how to reduce home energy usage & stimulate the economy & creation of jobs. This could be set-up as a game, whereby everyone wins that views the program & participates in the economic missions to be accomplished.

The energy industry has the potential to create 16 million new jobs!

How & why would people empowerment broadcasting work?
 
First, program producers would lay out an open forum participatory networking architecture that fosters a dynamic emergence of synergistic ideas, coupled with educational & instructional based resource empowerment that multiplies exponentially benefits in unthinkable ways beyond initial expectations.

Additionally, everyone possible at the most local community level is actively involved in the community empowerment process which multiples the total productivity of the activity.

This synergistic communication based architecture results in an environment, whereby, the end results are multiplied exponentially, through networking matrices, to many times the impact of the individual contributed parts. The synergistic emergent phenomenon nearly always possess these surprisingly beneficial qualities that will make broadcast community networking the preeminent mutually beneficial global force of this century.

Government
of, by and for the people cannot function in the interests’ and needs of the people unless they have some control over the dissemination of content on their public owned broadcast frequency airwaves. We cannot permit these new government licensed digital frequencies to be used or squandered in non-essential unproductive content.

 The potential to change the course of our destinies and to allow a representative Republic to function for the benefit of the people will always depend on the people having a powerful voice in the content of the information that is disseminated to them through the frequencies that they own.

We need interactive programming content that involves telephone talk, the merging of radio, television and the Internet, in order to reduce the use of energy and toward rebuilding our economic communities from the ground up.

We can begin to build radio & TV communication community networks along with syndicated programs to reach every community in america so that, "We the People can begin to speak to each other & participate in organizing toward empowering ourselves toward governing ourselves, as was intended.

Wall street & the finance sector would not have gotten out of hand if 9 years ago the truth had been disseminated to "We the People," & therefore we had forced our elected representatives to force the Security & Exchange Commission (SEC) to regulate wall street & finance sector! Trillions of dollars could have been saved along with our economy!

The broadcast radio frequencies & television channels are owned by the public and government licensees' are commanded to serve the public interest, convenience and necessity. Public education up to the college level is free to every citizen being funded by property tax revenues.

Both public & commercial broadcasting has an obligation to serve the public interest, convenience and necessity with high utility value programming content that is empowering to the audience receptors. With the addition of the new digital broadcast channels the new high utility programming content can be broadcast on local channels along with networking and the syndication of utility based content to the entire public citizenry. - 02/14/2009

The Internet Web access should broadcast in separate audio and video formats; this allows those with slower dial-up connections to listen to the program. Additionally, all good high utility content programs should be archived on the internet for audience convenience.

The opportunities for program producers and program sponsors

There is a latent potential audience awaiting the production of high value participatory programming content. The new digital frequencies provide at least three times the frequencies that require exceptional utility value to the audience in its programming content. There is a huge need for educational instructional do-it-yourself participatory programming content.

This creative innovative and inspiring ideas oriented and problem solving audience involved programming content, would be used to help solve our economic problems in America and worldwide. These digital frequencies  are easily converted into any language increasing exponentially the audience reach.

This educational audience participatory call-in type programming will utilize the extra digital radio and television frequencies also by cooperatively simulcasting on digital TV channels, also by securing additional access to satellite and cable network channels. Video is a great help toward illustrating how things are to be done.

Program sponsors can come from all sources, however, most of these programs will have a content interest niche for specific sponsors. Because a lot of the programming will be involved in reducing the use of energy and more efficient use of energy, along with utilizing renewable energy, sponsoring companies will have a ready-made target audience.

The most efficient and effective way to spread these informative public interest program formats is to utilize various digital television networks. The programs would start as a pilot programming test, then if passed move into various networking cross format venues. In addition, syndication could be used to find out-lets for this needed public interest programming content.

All of what I have suggested is feasible & should be accomplished for everyone’s benefit ASAP.

In the Public Interest and the Common Wealth of America

We need and must have Trillion-dollar solution oriented ideas that propel America’s & the global economies sustain-ably forward.

The government is only a one part of the full equation that is required to begin to move investment monies & the economy and jobs forward.

The investment money in the entire private sector represents the paramount key, along with other private sector resources to fuel the new energy sector industry, that will revive the economy and employment with good paying jobs.

Everyone has to be on the same page and that becomes a responsibility of the mainstream mass communication media in America and worldwide.

In other words, Mass Communication Media is our most valuable and important worldwide resource toward motivating both private & public sector policy decisions toward reviving a dead in the water economy.

Broadcasting and all mass communication media my not want to shoulder those responsibilities, however, to achieve success it is the reality.

Our major problem toward making the new energy sector work is the lack of trained and certified human skill resources’, therefore there must be an all-out effort toward motivating and training an energy conservation workforce.

When energy Senate Bill, Homestar and Goldstar becomes law, there will need to be thousands of certified Energy Auditors trained, by more than just the Building Performance Institute (BPI). BPI dominates the certification, training & receives high cost renewals, that will not work!

Both the public and private broadcasting sectors will need to motivate and educate the public concerning the required new wave of energy conservation job-skills.

Energy conservation Vo-Tech education will need to be a high-school curriculum requirement. This will produce an energy conservation high-school graduation job skilled workforce. The energy conservation initiative will not work without a trade skilled workforce.

All H-VAC technicians must be retrained to do whole house energy auditing remedial options, toward HVAC equipment downsizing practices.

The president and congress cannot revive the economy without the total cooperation of the entire private sector including the Mass Communication Media.

At this time, there is NOT the unanimity and cooperation of direction of either the public or private sectors to initiate an economic recovery.

No living thing can exist without communication within itself & with all the exterior things in its environment.

Every living thing has to have a means with which to communicate. Our global communication system is awesome but needs to communicate high utility value (usable) ideas that have the realistic potential to reboot our global economy and jobs.

No learning or education could take place without the means with which to communicate, and the faculties such as eye, ear receptors connected to a brain with which to receive and understand what is being communicated.

An idea is intangible however, when acted on what it creates is usually tangible.

The right kind of highly productive ideas have the potential to reboot the global economy. To be enabled to do that the ideas would have to be broadcast or mass disseminated globally to a good percentage of our world’s teenage and adult population.

Broadcast Media’s Stone Age Problem 

When it comes to producing critically important high utility value problem solving broadcast content, we are still in the Stone Age era. This was the era 600,000 or 700,000 years ago when tools were first beginning to be shaped from stones; though we have fanatic global mass communication tools, those tools are not being used to disseminate high utility value (usable) content with which to solve our global private sector economic demand-side problems.

An overview of why we don’t use broadcasting and print media mining the Internet for anyone with ideas that will advance our quality of life and standard of living.

For example, there is an easy way to use broadcasting & print media in conjunction with Internet resources to Bypass congress and motivate some of the 2.5 Trillion dollars in the private sector to spend/invest in safe, high return home energy efficiency auditing that result in multiplicity economic benefits in nearly every important human arena.

If we were to bring a Stone Age person into our modern mass media resource environment, that person wouldn’t know how to use the benefits of any of those resources.

Like the Stone Age person we are not utilizing the latent potential of our mass communication media in ways that enables and empowers our billions of global citizens to rather easily find solutions to their most pressing problems, including that of indebtedness and lack of private sector demand-side stimulation.
 
Both public and commercial radio and television could be broadcasting network and local Tel-Talk programming linked to the Internet resources, toward the valuable purpose of the mass dissemination of constructive creative ideas of extreme value to our future standard of living and wellbeing.

An interactive participatory interconnected circle, rather than separate limited, fragmented Internet communication resource paradigm; an interactive two-way participatory connected circle, rather than a one-way cut-off delivery system.

The new over-the-air digital frequency technologies now make it possible to accommodate this new powerful public affairs mass communication’s problem solving public interest programming content.

I get Iowa and Wisconsin digital over-the-air programs of three network channels each, and there is scant little utility content of value the recipients can put to use to actually better their economic and environmental lives.

This ought to be a central theme of Time Magazine’s, Man of the Year: “The Protestor.” We need a more democratized mass media communication system.

It is my concerned belief that these ideas fleshed out and put to work represent our best hope for a robust global economy and the best avenue toward world peace and mutual prosperity.
